Weekly Learning:
Reading: We will listen to Little Hero of Holland. After that we will read a play called The Tortoise and the Hare. We will get parts, practice numerous times, create props, and act it out. We will record the play for our YouTube channel. Besides that we will focus our comprehension on identifying the theme of the play and using text evidence for reasons to responses.
Spelling: Please check the spelling tab.
Writing: We will finish our personal narratives from last week. We had to include at least three new and exciting words in this writing, so try to find those when the writings come home. We will also take a vacation to somewhere new and research that location. Travel brochures as well as maps will be used to share our information about vacation spot.
Math: Topic 14 is continuing about area. A topic assessment will be held on Thursday along with a performance task. After that, we will review our math skills this year with some data, liquid volume, and mass sprinkled throughout the final weeks.
Social Studies: We are wrapping up Social Studies with a map of a vacation spot.
