Weekly Learning:
Reading: We will read a non-fiction text about a girl discovering a dinosaur and how it led to the creation of paleontology. The Girl Who Discovered the Dinosaurs (1000 lexile level) will be very interesting and provide some unique information new to us.
Spelling: Please check the spelling tab.
Writing: We will continue to write our opinion pieces we started from last week. Please ask your child which Carnaval or Carnival they are writing about in class.
Math: Topic 12 is wrapped up with just a little reinforcement still happening for a few kids. We will then move onto perimeter. If more practice is ever needed on any topic, please check out the EnVisions math website or Khan Academy.
Science: Ms. Hamker and the kids fully involved with rocks and soil for Earth Science.
