Weekly Learning:
Reading: We will read How My Family Lives in America (lexile 810). We will focus on reading with accuracy and fluency. We will emphasize recognizing and describing how a character affects a story and how we can relate to a character.
Spelling: Please check the spelling tab for words...quiz on Friday this week.
Writing: We will be creating photo essays and imaginative stories about visiting China.
Math: Topic 8 is focusing on division and explaining how division is the inverse operation of multiplication. We will use a variety of strategies to solve division problems including number sentences/models.
Social Studies: Back with me for the next Social Studies topic. Map skills will start off this unit.
